Since 2017, Cape Liberty supported over 40 students with grants totaling over $8,500.00.
Cape Cod Technical High school offers students the opportunity to learn a trade and a high school degree. In Caroline's senior year at "The Tech" she learned some of her graduating friends would not be certified in their trade because they couldn't pay the fees for the required state certification exams. Caroline believed that this was terribly unfair to students who worked hard in school but for lack of financial resources couldn't be certified in their chosen fields of study.
It's because of Caroline's concern for her friends' futures and her sense of fairness, her family established The Cape Liberty Fund in association with the Cape Cod Foundation. The Cape Liberty fund provides monetary support to financially disadvantaged students in all trades at the Cape Cod Technical School. The scholarships will allow students to complete their state required exams in their area of vocational study to achieve certifications.
